Magnus Bowden

Magnus Bowden - Anatomy and Physiology Tutor

Magnus Bowden has a 12 year history of working in the fitness industry, in roles including gym instructor, gym manager and personal trainer. He worked as Cannons' UK gym development manager for four years, before leaving to work as a freelance tutor for three years, teaching gym instructor and PT courses. Magnus has recently completed a physiotherapy degree and plans to continue teaching as it remains a strong part of his future career plans.


Joanne Cobbe

Joanne Cobbe - Principal Tutor

With ten years experience in the fitness industry, Joanne Cobbe joined the Pilates Precision in 2003. She is qualified to teach and assess all levels of Matwork. Joanne also has much experience with remedial Pilates and has owned her own Pilates businesses in Ireland and the UK. She also holds qualifications in Step, Spinning and personal training.


Yolande Green

Yolande Green - Chair of Technical Committee/Internal Verifier

Yolande Green first started in the fitness industry in 1982 and has held a variety of roles ranging from freelance instructor, fitness manager, club manager to national trainer. She was involved in the early stages of The Pilates Precision as a teacher trainer, and developed Pilates and Pregnancy, Pilates for Seniors and Pilates H20. Yolande has presented at many conventions around the UK and still presents regularly in Holland, and has also been involved in the event organising of the Fitness Forum Convention. She has co-written "Pilates for Pregnancy", "Pilates - The Complete Body System", and personally authored "Weights for Women".


Kirsten Harder

Kirsten Harder - Assessor

Kirsten Harder has been working within the fitness industry for 20 years and is a qualified Pilates, Step and Aerobics Instructor, and a Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist.

As well as assessing for Pilates Presicion, Kirsten runs her own successful business in Hampshire specialising in Remedial Pilates, teaches on a BTEC National Performing Arts Diploma and is currently studying for her Certificate in Education.


Gaye Holmes

Gaye Holmes - Tutor/Assessor

Gaye has been in the Fitness industry since 1991, teaching step, dance and aerobics across the globe. Having trained with the Pilates Precision in the late 90s, she has now progressed to become a Matwork tutor and assessor.


Diane Leek

Diane Leek - Tutor/Assessor

Diane Leek has worked in the Fitness Industry for over 20 years. She is a trainer/assessor for the Pilates Precision, and presents Indoor Cycle, Push and Lift, and Gravity Training Systems Pilates. Diane is also a freelance studio and gym exercise teacher/trainer (covering all formats) and has Special Populations certificates in Pre and Post natal, Cardiac Rehab, Exercise on Referral, Exercise for Older Adults, Disabled People, Mental Health Issues, and has established local projects and schemes in these areas.


Mark Leyland

Mark Leyland - Technical Lecturer Tutor

Mark Leyland MCSP BScH BScH. Dip Sp. has been working in the fitness industry for over 12 years and holds a degree in Sports Science, a Diploma in Sports Therapy and is a qualified APPI Pilates Instructor. Mark began his career as a personal trainer, before qualifying as a physiotherapist and moving to the NHS.

He also runs his own private practice, working mainly with professional golfers.
